Absolutely loved our walk through this place rich in history. The bunkers are SO interesting to wander around and through. I’ve never been anywhere with this many bunkers so easily accessible with the routes between them still walkable and intact. This is one interesting and...More

We were disappointed. The bunker contained just sleeping quarters and some bits found in the ground. We could still see some foundations where the radar antennas had been during WW2, but nothing of the radar installations.

"Really interesting place to visit , almost 4 kilometres of trenches , bunkers and cannon and machine gun installations. Worth the visit if one is interested in history from the second world war."

You can enter the lighthouse and have a great view or wander through the dunes. In there you can take look at the bunkers or you can take a guided tour.

Well worth the visit. The site would really benefit by having English signage. Bring a flashlight or phone to see the underground spaces.

As its free to visit it's worth a look round. Some of the bunkers are inaccessible due to being locked up but it give a good impression of what it must have been like
