Very substantial. I found the Shrine and the surrounds - there are so many other attractions to see in the immediate vicinity - fascinating. Improved my knowledge of the Spanish colonisation of the Philippines.

The shrine is free to enter and is conveniently located next to the Lapu-Lapu statue. Nice bit of history to see and it's very well maintained. Nice tourist shops next to the shrine if you need any souvenirs. The shrine is also open at night....More

The Lapu-Lapu Statue and Magellan's Marker are in the same small park. Plenty of souvenir and snack options available.

This is situated on Mactan Island of Lapu Lapu City. There is no entrance fee but there are some souvenirs shops. Just spent at most 15mins to take some photos and understand the historical part of it.

A nice spot to bring visitors. We have been here several times always with out-of-town visitors. Early evening (before dark) is always the best time.

Been here many times, to see the Shrine, walk around the gardens and to visit the many great stalls selling souvenirs. If you go towards the fish restaurant which is great by the way, there are some more shops.

The Magellan Shrine is just a few meters away from the Lapu-lapu Monument, it's a tower in honor of Magellan.
