Itacare is a small surf town, so finding something to do each day is sometimes hard as you get caught into a trap after a while and end up doing pretty much the same thing day in day out, but the walk to Piranha is...More

É linda, mas não é exatamente a melhor praia pra banhistas. Na real, é pra surfistas e fotógrafos mesmo. Gorgeous, but not the safest water for a swim. It's actually for surfers and photographers

You can reach it thru a 40 min walk. It is not mandatory, but there are local guides to hire at Ribeira beach. Take water and some food, because you can stay for a while on the wonderful almost desert beach.

Best beach on Itacaré, good for those who love hikes and adventures! The hike is 1.6 miles lengh, and a guide is only necessary if you are not used to hike.

I hiked for about 45 minutes to an hour. The scenery was stunning as was the beach itself. Get up early, pack and lunch and go! A must see of Itacare.

Long walk to get to this beautiful, peaceful beach. Best to go early in the morning. Take lots of water and some snacks as at the beach all you can buy is coconut water and drinks !

So pretty and peaceful, our photos look fake. Postcard material. Best beach of the entire Northeast coast. The trail from the last of the city's beaches (ca. 40 minutes) through Atlantic rainforest is beautiful and can easily be done without guide. Cross at the waterfall,...More
