One of the most beautiful beaches in the area, however as the other beautiful beaches in the area it is difficult to get there; walking a 2 km muddy foothpad going down from a 100 m height (great views) and when you go back up...More

Outside the city, so you need a car/taxi/tourist bus to get there. There are two different paths. I choose the shorter, but the steeper one also. This beach depends on the sea tide. Nice to go at low tide, so you can walk around to...More

Jeribucacu is nice, but far from being among the top beaches I've been to. Lots of black sand that is very sticky. Sandbars and such made for some very strong currents and poor conditions for body surfing. The walk back up the hill when you're...More

Took a taxi here and hiked down to the beach. Took about30 minutes. Steep and slippery in some areas but we'll worth it. The beach is amazing with a few food and beer vendors. Cash only!

Jeribucacu looks the same as lot of beaches, such as Resende, just much bigger. The waves across a lot of the Itacare beaches are somewhat rough, so get ready to jump waves and/or be knocked over. There are some areas of the beach that have...More

Wonderful place! We went with kids and even though the trail was difficult, they managed it! The beach is really beautiful and the people selling fish and coconut are very welcoming! If you go there remember to get some money with you to eat a...More

It is a long walk down a steep hill, but trust me it's worth it. When there, have the fish and then head for the long walk home where your surf board feels even heavier!!!

Jeribucaçu is beautiful, the nicest beach in the surroundings of Itacaré. Walking there took only 20 minutes through a very beautiful track in the atlantic forest. A combination of some exercise, a nice shadowed area under the coconut trees, bathing in clean and warm sea...More
