Very beautiful, ancient cathedral. Wonderful bells. Great place to stop and admire the architecture with a fresh gelato from around the corner.

This cathedral was fairly much like many others in the area,apart from the entrance which is very ornate and has 2 large stone lions guarding it.

When visiting altamura for any reason don't hesitate to pay a visit in this amazing church! It's in the town centre surrounded by beautiful medieval buildings.

don't miss to visit Altamura's Cathedral. it was built by Federicus II and is a very very nice monument. inside you will find many artworks and an ancient Neapolitan crib
