Glenfiddich, producer of the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, has developed a new tour programme for The Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Visitors will be able to choose from a tailored range of three paid-for tours. The over-18s-only tours cater for all interests and budgets, from those looking for a unique behind the scenes distillery visit through to whisky enthusiasts seeking a fully immersive experience, and vary in duration from one and a half hours up to three and a half hours. Further details are below: 1. Explorer Tour (£10): a fully guided tour of the distillery and Warehouse 8, including a tutored tasting of four award winning drams. Tours from 9.30Pm - 4.00Pm Glenfiddich Solera Deconstructed (£50): a new hands-on, tailored experience with a full introduction to Glenfiddich's unique Solera system. Visitors can nose several samples and enjoy a tutored tasting of 4 cask strength 15 year old samples before recreating their very own version of Glenfiddich Solera. Two tours daily 2. New Pioneer (£95): a half-day immersive experience for whisky enthusiasts. This in-depth tour offers insight into the marrying process in Warehouse 6, and the opportunity to bottle a 20cl whisky from the Malt Master's personal selection of casks. Finally, guests enjoy a nosing and tasting masterclass in the Grant Family Home, featuring five Glenfiddich whiskies matched with appetisers. One daily tour. We are extremely proud of the fact that Glenfiddich is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family-owned today and all tours will continue to offer an unforgettable insight into our unique, family-run heritage. We look forward to welcoming guests to our distillery.

A great place to visit. There is no fee to drop in and look around the grounds but a guided tour and tasting does have a fee. We really enjoyed seeing how these beautiful old buildings were still being utilised for their original purpose and how the visitor areas had been modernised (restaurant/cafe, tasting room, toilets etc) to cater for... By all means this was a very interesting tour, going through the whole building complex and the various phases of the production process. In the end some tasting of three different age whiskeys. Of course we could not leave without a set of sample bottles.

Whether you know anything about Whisky or not, you will still enjoy a visit to the distillery! This worth the stop and you end your tour with three samples.

We paid £10 for the explorers tour which I would thoroughly recommend. After an enjoyable video, we got a good look around the distillery, and saw inside two warehouses. Afterwards, we got proper tasting lesson from our excellent guide, Gemma. We had a very enjoyable lunch - the soup of the day is excellent value, while the Haggis, Neeps and... More

The Glenfiddich Tour was a unique experience that showcased some interesitng aspects with the warehouses and marrying vats. The tasting experienc was also very good and showcased a true variety of the Glenfiddich range; which definitely opened my eyes. I had never loved the Glenfiddich 12 but learned that my taste is a little more expensive (and older) than that,... More

Done a couple of distillery tours in the past and this one is by far the best, it's still privately owned and run by the family that founded it, it's operations are mostly done on site which is unusual, the tour takes about an hour is interesting and you get a taste of whisky at the end, and it's free... A visit to the Glenfiddich distillery is a pleasant experience from the moment you arrive - the grounds are wonderfully manicured, and if you have a non-drinker in your party, they'll thoroughly enjoy just wandering around the property looking at the gardens. But for the rest of us... Like a lot of distilleries and breweries open to the public, Glenfiddich... More

I'm always skeptical visiting such large scale distilleries - but 'Fiddich manage to keep hold of their romanticism despite how prolific they are. Good tour.

We visited Glenfiddich Distillery after a lapse of about 20 plus years purely because we had had such an enjoyable visit the last time. We were not disappointed. Although the style of the tour has changed a bit the guides are as knowledgeable as can be. No questions were left unanswered or answers fudged. It was a bit noisy at... More
