We stayed at the Coconut Court Hotel on this beach and loved it. Warm turquoise sea, white sand, turtles and tropical fish, sunbeds to pull under palm trees. What's not to like?

Tropical fish literally swim around you and are clearly not bothered by people and to top it off the absolute highlight of my holiday a turtle swam past me.

All the beaches are lovely. Clean and accessible to all not just the hotels that lead on to them. Certain parts of the beach you can see the fish swimming around your feet and occasionally you get to see the sea turtles.

With so many gorgeous beaches in Barbados, you're spoilt for choice! But Hastings Beach was a favourite for us because it never got too busy.

A beautiful unspoilt piece of coastline. We spotted turtles swimming near the shore line and lots of tropical fish only a few yards out. Fabulous.

BroLucious: In the pictures you posted of Hastings Beach there is a small red building and loungers. Do these belong to a hotel or are you able to rent them?

I believe you can either rent or if staying at a hotel, use theirs. But I do think there are some there for rent, but not positive
