Enjoyed a visit to these great thermal pools on a Sunday. They are great value for money and it is definitely worth paying the extra $2 to enjoy the spa pool. The setting is lovely next to the bush where you can enjoy the sound of the birds in the trees. The pools are clean and well maintained. There were... More

We visit the pools from Hamilton, really nice and clean and definitely worth the extra $2 for the adult spa. Perfect after a trip up the mountain too

We struck a sunny spring day and there was only one other person swimming. Lovely outdoor setting, well worth paying the extra $2 for access to the spa pool. The changing rooms had a big heater as well as showers and private cubicles.

We spent a couple of happy hours wallowing around in the warm/hot water. The larger pool is 1.2 metres deep and about 20 metres long - not suitable for lap swimming as there were quite a few people floating about. The toddler pool, with mushroom is very shallow. There is also a biggish spa pool. There was a lifeguard on... More

Nice cheap clean pools. Great for little kids with a paddling pool and a deeper pool for the older kids with lots of floating toys. Also nice hot spa pool for a small extra charge.

Being very unfit and overweight this pool was perfect for me. The wide, gentle steps make getting in and out easy and the length was quite adequate for me. The changing rooms have private cubicles which I appreciated so as not to have to change in front of other people.

These are a OK pool. I would recommend after a long hike up to Te Aroha. That you cool off in these pools. They normally quite peaceful and a good way to relax after a hike.

Beautiful pools in nature. Amazing team, a guy that was very helpful with directions and other attractions in the area. Nice temperature. A little shallow but nice to relax in.
