If you have ever wondered about Gaudi's amazing architecture this experience is tremendously enjoyable and shows where his inspiration came from growing up in Reus and observing the countryside around him. To be able to look closely at facsimiles of his actual work closely (especially details of the Sagrada Familial) is magical. The combination of geometry and the natural world... More

Right in town centre this small museum offers a walk through audiovisual insight into the life, times and works of Antoni Gaudi and the other Reus born modernists.

Gaudi has some pretty sites and buildings. A genius. But the Museum does not really do justice to his work. It is a boring story of his birthplace and family. I expected some more pictures and descriptions of his work!

All tourists interested in Gaudi's art should visit this place, it's a sort of museum with many displays of Gaudi's technique in building his majestic architectures.

Gaudi was a native of Reus, and this museum, above tourist information, gives a most interesting insight into his life there.

Modern stunning displays with self guided audio that shows Gaudi's life and the inspiration behind his work. Really glad we saw this before going to Barcelona as we were far better informed to appreciate his work there.

We visited on a Thursday morning and had the place to ourselves. 9 euros seemed a bit steep but it was cheap at the price. It was one of the most informative and interesting exhibits we had ever attended and gave a wonderful insight to an extraordinary mind.

Antonio Gaudi was born in Reus but he is more famous for the architecture in the city up the road, Barcelona, and the as-yet uncompleted materpiece, the Sagrada Familia. This museum-type attraction is high tech, sited on four well-laid out floors and mixes wonderful audio-visual displays with excellent photographs, models and memorabilia. The visit took about an hour and a... More
