If I have to give someone else advice about driving almost 5 hours on terrible roads to see this Lake I will tell them not to gdo. To drive so many hours from Baku to see this Lake was not worrh it. There's nothing super interesting about it and on top of it the day I visited it was very cloudy and foggy I couldn't see much of the lake. However, it has lots of potential for summer when the sky is blue and the boots are operating. Because there were small boats operating at this Lake that can take you out for a tour so I can see it it might be super gorgeous but even in the summer I still don't see driving so many hours just to see this lake is worth it. It is located in the heart of Gabala and surrounded by some small shops selling souvenirs and snacks other than that there's not much interesting sites there.

Beautiful lake, but surrounded by 80th style Soviet Era Attractions. Avoid going there on Weekend cause it will be crowded with local kids and people from near by villages

Beautiful lake situated right in the Centre of Gabala. The lake offers some beautiful views of the mountain. You have a plenty of things to do around the lake, including restaurants, Boating, shopping, game zone for kids, Horse Riding and there is also a Masha and the Bear house located in the parking lot. Evenings are peaceful and calm here. We stayed at the adjoining Nohur hotel and loved to visit the lake in the evening and morning. There is also a Go Karting track here. The food and activities are surely pricy.

The place is amazing
The lake with its views incredible
They have a very big area consist of
. Boats
. Horse riding
. Restaurants
. Coffee shops
. Shops
. Small theme park
. Buggies
. Karting
The only bad thing and i am sure that it will impact Azerbejan tourist sector is the greedy people spread all around the area and whenever you stop for taking pictures, they will come asking for money for taking photos

A serene lake with boating on your own or assisted. Place is a picnic spot where you can take a break before going to Qabala. Restaurant is also there if you want food.

Nothing exceptional. Just a normal lake with boating options. Couple of restaurants and park. Good to visit if you are traveling to this region.
