I went here on a tour so the guide explained what each room was, and as another review pointed out you do need a guide as there is no other information. The thing that really stood out was the intricate stained glass windows with beautiful multi colored light coming in the windows, however there was no photography allowed in the... More

Sheki is quite small township and the best things to do there is to get close with the nature and national cuisine. But this Palace is quite authentic place and kept the atmosphere of old Sheki.

this is one of the better castles in azerbaijan . note---this isn't saying a lot. no furniture, no english notes. but very nice stained glass windows. need a guide to point out items of interest.

It was great to see Khan's palace in Sheki to experience life at the time of Khanate, their lifestyle and way of managing the state.

We visited this palace as it was included in our itinerary. Though it is well kept and nicely decorated, but certainly no comparison with similar ones in Iran. Also note that photography is disallowed inside the palace.

It's must visit! A magnificent ancient place. You can take a tour and get information about this Palace. There are very old plane trees growing in the yard of the Palace. You can take beautiful pictures there.

The Palace was not very big but the interior was beautiful and very colorful because of the colored glass mosaic used. Nearby was a shop where hand-made woodwork was sold. The palace was located in a remote and isolated area.

Great place to visit. Situated on picturesque hillside, this place has great historical heritage to offer together with amazing nature. Witnessed national dancing from local youth just having fun

Sheki Khan's palace is essentially why you come to Sheki (there wasn't much else there and we only stopped for a night on the way to Baku from Georgia - I would not recommend a special visit). The architecture of this summer palace is beautiful both inside and out. Sadly photos are not permitted inside but when you see the... More
