Definitely recommending this to everyone visiting Kalibo. Especially for nature lovers and those who appreciate the effort of man in restoring nature. Do go kayaking in the mouth of Aklan river.

Picking the last day on our trip to visit this place prooved to be very worthwhile. Walking thru the manmade mangrove forest on the 1 km. boardwalk helped to ease our minds, bodies and souls, as if cleansing all the tiredness and replacing it with a relaxing vibe. The leisurely walk with music from the crickets and the birds, the... More

my family and i went to Bakhawan last October 2015, i was surprised of the latest feature they have. the board walk was longer and they have new activity point. they also have trivia posts. our trip was exciting and very relaxing and all of us enjoyed our kilometer walk inside this beautiful sanctuary of animal species. . .

So we ended up eating sardines.and rice for lunch, considering we will have to walk 1km to finish the tour. If more people wld visit the place, it has... More

very nice place to relax. you can experience nature at its best! entrance fee is of high cost for a trip to the park but if this could help improve,it would be ok. need to add comfort rooms on the middle part. i must visit for those who wants to enjoy while burning calories..

The place is good for those who wants to get in touch with nature. It is best to be there early or on weekdays as the resto area gets cramped with people on peak days/hours. You would not appreciate the nature when there's a lot of noise. Entrance is quite expensive but if it's for the care of this nature... More

From the small plantation of mangroves turn to park and sanctuary of different water creatures(small crabs, shells, fishes etc.). This place gives you one of a kind environment., from the busy streets of Kalibo you might forget where you are!! heheh..perfect... More
