This is an interesting place to see although there has been some damage to surrounding building from the July earthquake with repairs taking place whilst we were there. Restaurants close by looked good too.

This is not the original tree, for it was dated between 500 and 1000 years of age. But the site has a lot of history. I would have enjoyed a mo re insightful sign with a few more known facts.

Not really a lot to say I love this place just a shame to see how much damage the earthquake has caused to the old town and the area around hippocraties tree so pleased the tree itself was un affected however can't say the same...More

Unfortunately the recent earthquake this summer has closed off a part of the display; it's still a very neat place to visit.
