Well maintained and restored amphitheatre

Small amphitheatre, but well restored, that gives you a really good idea of what it was like when it was in use. The lower steps/seats have marble on. The stage area is there... read more

Would not really recommend a special visit. Its just an ancient roman stadium. Open Air. No great explanations written at the entry. Just gives you a feel to sit in the odeon. Within a day you can see the entire island.

Took a while to find it but worth the find. Very serene place and lovely to explore. There is a building that's locked up and never did find out what it was for. Worth looking to see what it was if you go there.

Well preserved odeon, no entrance fee. It is better to rent a car to check all the ancient sights within one day, the monuments are not close to each other (if you want to visit also Asclepion etc)

It's a shame that there is such limited information at every historic sight in Kos. The roman odeon is impressive but certainly smaller than I was expecting. As with other historic sights in Kos there is only one small plaque with information on the sight by the entrance at the road. Entrance is free and don't forget the other historical... More

Small amphitheatre, but well restored, that gives you a really good idea of what it was like when it was in use. The lower steps/seats have marble on. The stage area is there and you can go up on to but not as well restored. Whilst there, go across the road to the western archaeological site. There are no signs... More

An amazing site and sight but lacks information boards. Best get a guide book. We spent about half an hour exploring and sitting imagining what it would have been like.

A reasonable size area of exploration. Lots to see and learn about. Very interesting history etc. Fairly easy easy to locate with the help of the maps we had.

Definitely worth a look :-) Its free to visit and was still all intact. We have visited ruins in the past and there have been just a few stones. This was very well preserved
