A busy town square with lots of restaurants, bars, shops and the museum. The architecture of the old buildings is beautiful and the square is so big that no matter how many people there are, you don't feel squashed in. Lovely meeting place in the middle of Kos Town, especially on a Sunday evening, when all the locals meet to eat. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Also a great shop full of spices, honey and sweets, also a good choice of gifts, well worth a visit.

Pretty square , with lots of places to eat and watch the world go by. A total contrast to the refugees who bothered no one . It put me off eating there. Lovely... More

We stopped off for a drink in the womens cooperative bar and watched the hustle and bustle of the square. Great to stop and have a drink and to 'peoplewatch'.

Spacious, wide, sunny, with history and its finger on the pulse of tourist needs. Draw cash, shop for souvenirs, and sit outside a tavern with a coffee and watch the hustle and bustle of Kos .

One of the liveliest places in town - nice square with a mosque, there is a covered market near and most important - ots of restaurants and cafees! Hard to find the best ones but at any i is nice just to sit and watch the lively square...
