It was only on our 6th trip to the Wildschonau that we took the slow train to the Kundl Gorge. Don't forget to use your visitor card for a discount and a wonderful walk awaits you.

The Bummelzug runs regularly through all the villages giving access to the alm at the end of the valley and Thierbach a village perched high above the valley floor. Make sure you read the timetable properly!

This little train did a fantastic job at taking all our wedding guests to the venue and brought them back to the main hotel.Easy to book and a pleasure dealing with them. Thank you! :D

This is a beautiful sedate walk through a fantastic gorge. We took our 2 children. Lots of waterfalls, bridges and stunning views. You can walk a few kilometeres through from Kundl to Wildschonau and in summer you can get the small train. The parking is...More
