a very good trek, it was a 12 hr trek for us and it was worth the effort.
we took a horse trek because we didn't have time to camp there but if you have that time I would suggest you camp in Tullian lake which is a two day trek by walk.

Can't describe the thrill you get once u reach the lake. Some advise'- take a rescue horse or two . The uphill trek is too steep. Go slow. And keep lot of liquid.

The trek is an arduous but beautiful 30km on foot from pahalgam. Some people opt for pony ride for some distance but we didn't want it. Out of the world vistas

We had heard about Tulian lake trek as a must do thing when in Pahalgam and we are delighted to say that we can't agree more. Trek to Tulian lake was rewarding with not just the wonderful views that it offered but also due to the hospitality of High hills trek team. We did a 2 days 1 night camping with them. At the time we trekked, it was just our tent in the vicinity and hence it felt like a magical experience. Tulian lakes' magical colours became alive in the morning that left us awestruck.

We started our trek with Sabzar bhai & his team Riyaaz bhai , Manzoor bhai on the note 'the most beautiful views come after the hardest climb'. For us, it was not just an enthralling experience but also a learning experience , how this entire trek involved so much meticulous planning from High Hills trek. Ensuring that we eat fruits during those mini breaks, arranging for raincoats, cooking finger licking food in the middle of nowhere during our stay at the base camp, having enough warm blankets and frequently sipping tea, coffee, kehwa felt like a luxury and we were in awe to be at the receiving end of such hospitality.

Arrangements of bonfire, providing torchlight during the night & cool night breeze really felt that there is so little one needs to be happy in life.

We highly recommend highhills trek for they take care of each and everything during your trek. Price may initially feel to be on a higher side but every penny spent is worth the experience. One just needs to soak in the beauty around & enjoy what comes next in each and every moment of your trekking experience!

We did the 16 Km trek - partly on horses and mainly on foot. From Pahalgam to Tulian Lake Up and down - took us close to 9 hours. 8 AM to 5 PM. It is treacherous. The guide - Sabzar Rather - from HighHill Trek and Tours - and the two pony guys helped us a lot - lugging the excess up to the lake. The sight of the lake and the stream of water flowing down - helps you melt out the tiredness. A must for everyone. Note : take raincoat, and wear trekking shoes. the last 2 kms is all rocky and cannot be done with the best of the sport shoes. Keep water bottle and plenty of food to eat.

It was my Solo trip. Destination- Pahalgam, Tulian Lake.

The trek was led by Subzar from High Hills Trek and Tours.

Right from organising the trek and ensuring that I ws motivated at all times ( dur yo the steep climb), Subzar managed it all

Lunch and apples were provided enroute as energy boosters

The base camp for Tulian was carefully selected, ( food non veg included) was out of the world.

The arrangement was perfect. No room for error.

This was my 2nd time with High Hills Trek and Tours and all I can say is that they are getting better.
