If you are self driving your car (not a cab) no one would stop you & you can easily reach to the parking spot & take a walk from their, the views where amazing, i went for Chandanwadi first & than betab valley on return both the places are on the same way, but only drive on this way if you are confident on your driving skills as the road gets narrow & their are sharp turns too, if you are not confident than hire a cab

We experienced snow a day after the first snowfall of 2022. The access for taxi is right to the top, but the area is very dirty and not kept clean. Toilet facilities are also dirty though they charge for it.

Chandanawari is the last point on the motor able road to the Amarnath cave of devotees are travelling from Pahalgam. The drive from Pahalgam to Chandanawari is beautiful. The river stream along the way looks stunning. The mountains are majestic. After reaching this place, once can see how tough the further journey to Amarnath will be. Though there is not much to see at this place per se. I enjoyed the ride to this place and the cold water of river on way back.

The place from where the spiritual journey to the holy Amarnath cave begins, is near by a river.
One can walk or take hand pulled trolley to reach near the river.
Again bargain hard for the trolley ride.

To be at the base camp of Amarnath is unbelievable. The water is potable and sweet. For elderly their are the "Jugad" trolley and these are really a boon.
I will expect that the authorities should make the toilets hygenic.

This is where the Amarnath jatra starts. The road to this spot has some excellent views, though at the place the shacks are rather unattractive. There are no public conveniences which can be a problem as the drive to the spot is long.

Roads are good with no congestion but it is advisable to hire a taxi because if you want to hire in the mid-way then you won't be able to get one. You have not mentioned the month of travel because when we visited in the month of April itself there was no fresh snow all snow was avalanche snow
Hello. I am planning to visit pahalgam in the month of May? How is the weather their? Can I get to see snow? And which places is best to see?? Please help me.

Weather in May at Pahalgam is pleasant and will get cold in evenings, a pair of jacket will help to make you feel better.
Snow is not available at Pahalgam, but can be found at Chandanwadi, one of the valley to be seen at Pahalgam.
If you are in pahalgam, please do visit, all 3 valleys, Aru, Betaab & Chandawadi. Also, visit pahalgam valley, kashmir valley & mini Switzerland.
Please plan your stay for 2 days at Pahalgam, this will cover all places.
Have a safe and happy journey.
Is there any relaxation.can i start the journey next day of my registration date 😮

you can start. you have to hire the local vehicles controlled by the union for going to chandanwari. we did see many outstation vehicles self driven as well. There are plenty of vehicles for hire are available.
