Loved the extension into the sea and the monkey (Anis de Mono) right at the gate. Unfortunately it was closed a week ago. Loved the beach though.

Just want to let you know that the huge storm that hit Catalonia yesterday has broken the pier. There are 15mts missing in the last part that connects to the platform.

If you're in the area certainly check it out. But Nothing to go out of the way for. The Anis del Mono sculpture Is Right in front of it so you can hit two birds with one stone.

After reading the reviews on here, we visited this pier. It has great views both sides and I would love to be on it at sunrise or sunset.

If you go to Badalona, you have to take a walk by this bridge, recovered from the local industry at the lasts years of the 20th century. A picture sat beside the monkey, and another at the end of the bridge are the proof of your visit to the ancient roman Baetulo.

Don't miss this beautiful beach in Badalona. Lots of bars and restaurants. Long pier (look for the monkey) with great views down the coast. In the busy months lots of quality bars and restaurants pop up on the beach.. Really amazing place, don't miss it.. And less busy than the beaches in Barcelona. If you catch the R1 from the city to Badalona and it stops right on the beachfront!

The pier brings one into the sea. It is fantastic place to survey the coastline and the hills beyond.

A statue of a monkey drinking welcomes one to the pier on the beach.

It can get very windy but is a fantastic place to watch the sunrise.
