A building designed by the architect Lluís Muncunill under the influence of Antoni Gaudí. A surprising oasis in the middle of the city surrounded by a big garden park, also under modernism style.

Just a great example of Gaudi's work. Certainly not the Sagrada Familia or others in Barcelona but very well done and well preserved. It is now an office building and you can do tours at around noon (we did not). We spent about 30 minutes...More

Masia Freixa is a rather stunning, modest sized building set in a pretty park (Parc Sant Jordi) in Terrassa. It's easy reached on foot from the center of town. The outside is very beautiful, yet the interior is generally closed to the public except on...More

One of my '1,001 buildings you must see before you die'. Hard to believe it was built as a factory! Lovely arches, domed roofs and a minaret-like tower. Masia Freixa now serves as a tourist information centre. We went on a Saturday (open 10.00-14.00). You...More

The inspiration from Gaudi is obvious but Masia Frexia certainly has its own story to tell. Among a number of interesting and beautiful buildings we found on our city walk in Teresa there is no doubt that Masia Freesia was the number on experience. The...More

Perhaps not the prettiest city in Spain on the outside and easy to drive on by, however, when you get into the heart of this city, like many Spanish towns and cities there is always interesting places to visit such as the Masia Frexia.
