We had a lovely visit to the sound, calf of man. The seals were very entertaining to watch and the views were fantastic however cafe is very expensive and would not go in there again but would definitely visit the sound but take a picnic

Very nice visitor centre and cafe serving lovely local food, not a lot here but the views and they are really great views, you quite often see seals in the water or sunning themselves on the rocks.

We spent a couple of hours here when it wasn't too busy. The views are spectacular and we saw seals popping up in the sea every so often. The cafe is great too.

Once again I was drawn to the sound restaurant. The food is lovely, the views brilliant. One more treat was a big bull seal with his garden really close on the rocks. I would highly recommend a visit for the views and food.

Unless we missed something this was much more of a café-cum-restaurant than a proper visitor centre. There were information boards around the back of the room and a video about the IoM playing (no sound) but I didn't see any staff other than servers/waiters. The stuff we saw was not at all engaging at any rate

The views from here are beautiful..a great spot to just sit in your car and relax..lots of motorcyclists were here parked up..you can sit on the hillside on benches and enjoy the scenary..or pop into the cafe with 180 degree panoramic views..well worth a visit to see the beautiful island of the calf of man..

Nice place for a cuppa and lunch. We visited just to see what was there and there was great views of shags fishing in huge coordinated flocks, seals and gulls but probably the most interesting thing was watching the wildlife taking advantage of those incredible tidal currents - I could have happily watched all day long. The staff are pleasant... More

Most reviewers seem to miss the point that the visitopr centre is the display inside the cafe.. It tells you about the area and what to look out for. That said the point of coming here is for the views across the the Calf of Man and the wildlife (notable the seals). Do take binoculars.

Great for birdwatching and if we had more time would have taken a boat trip around the area well worth a visit

We as I'm sure a lot of visitors do just parked up and went straight into café or walked straight to calf of man view point To see & hear the seals, its nature and scenery at its best, I can remember the old wooden tea hut and I'm not sure if big new glitzy café really adds to the natural... More
