Saturday 22nd September and we visited Puerto de Mogán a picturesque town and fishing village. It is situated on the south-west coast of the island at the mouth of a steep-sided valley. There is a Mirador on the top of the hill, with amazing views...More

Well this place is just fantastic, if you come to Gran Canaria then a visit down to the explanada, you will not regret it, lovely views and a peaceful setting.

We went 2 days ago to visit el Puerto. It´s a nice walk. Old village, really charming with a few good options to eat. It´s worth it the visit

Peurto de Mogan is also known as 'Little Venice' - it is not like Venice! Though it does have quaint bridges and painted houses (some with 'tunnel/bridges underneath) and is beautifully set with flowers, etc. It was quiet when we visited for a few hours,...More

Very small and somewhat authentic nice place. A reasonable number of stores for shopping. Various restaurants. However there could be even more potential at this place, even to achieve the top level. The weirdest thing was the dumping ground at the harbour. If you want...More

I haven't taken the bus, but the journey is pretty much all motorway, so not that scenic. However, Las Palmas is well worth a visit.
