Bike ride started in Boqueron PR around 8:30 with a group of six. Because this is a long and hot ride you should carry lots of water and Energy bars. The Trails travel through the mango Forest and Across the salt flats. The area around the lighthouse is a nature lovers Paradise. After arriving at Los Morrillos lighthouse you will... More

We went to playa soucia and walk up to the lighthouse to look around. Great views and a nice little display insider, remember to bring/wear a shirt if you want to enter..

Its a great place to take a lot of beautiful pictures. Make sure to bring water because you have to walk and safety shoes.

I have an idea, charge a fee and fix the road. The last 2 miles is on a horrible dirt road at under 5 mph. There is a free shuttle the last 500 meters to the lighthouse. It is close Wednesdays. There are washrooms, pop & chip machines and local vendors (someone on TA said it was desolate with no... More

The road to get to this attraction is a dirt road full of potholes, so drive slowly and dodge the pot holes. You can hike up to the lighthouse, or if it is there, take an open air bus up to the lighthouse. There is no cost for the short trip. Once your at the lighthouse there are beautiful views... More

A unique unpaved drive through the salt marsh, to a large, perhaps first lighthouse on Puerto Rico. Travel west off the beaten path to chase the sun.

A hike (or trolley ride) up to the Los Morrillos Lighthouse high on the point overlooking the seaward entrance to Playa Sucia is worth the time spent exploring this well-preserved piece of Puerto Rican History. There is a small parking area on the west side of the point where a trolley makes a run to the top. For people that... More

If you don't mind the walk you will encounter an amazing view awesome for a picnic an a sunset. When I went the light house was close but my understanding is that you can go inside

If you go to Caro Rojo, make sure you visit the lighthouse.Go early to get a good parking spot and to avoid crowds at the beach. The dirt road that leads to the lighthouse is bumpy with a lot of pot holes!Lighthouse closes on Wednesdays BTW.It is quite a hike to get up there .It is worth it though. For those who... More
