3 tanks filled with turtles of differing sizes. Pretty uninspiring. Situated right next to the main road. I won't comment on the ecological benefit as I'm not an expert, unlike some of he previous reviewers

You may miss this place if not paying attention. Myself and my partner had a wander along to see some baby turtles as we had been snorkelling with the big mum and dad turtles the previous day. 3 tanks, with shallow water and turtles of...More

I read many misleading reviews about this place. This place is taken care properly by the local people and unprofit organization in Gili Trawangan 1. The baby turtles are well cared until they are about 6 to 8 months, then they are released to the...More

if you want to support people who steal away healthy eggs from their natural nests - this place is right for you! the turtle hatchlings are kept in 3 crazy small tanks where there is NO current, NO stones or anything for them to relax...More

Not sure this place is run by people who know what they are doing, rather by people who are trying to help but aren't quite getting it right? Dirty, cloudy tanks. Not clear whether the babies are ever released or just kept there for tourist...More

I was on Gili T for 10 days, the 2nd day I came here and saw the baby turtles. There were 10, 5 day old turtles. I noticed the turtles couldn't swim down to eat their "food" which looked large for them. I inquired why...More

Visited the hatchery and saw a lot of turtles. Lots of information on turtle conservation. kids would love this on an island otherwise known only for diving and partying.
