Located just a few minutes from the city center, the Vieux Carouge district on the outskirts of Geneva is a favorite haunt for tourists and locals alike.

I could not find something really very interesting in this village. The ice cream in the gelateria in the main square is really very good.

Escape the hustle of central Geneva and eat out after a stroll around the quiet village square of Carouge. There is a wide choice of bars and restaurants, small clothes and craft shops.

This is at the other side of Geneva. But, it is very easy to rach by public transportation. Only about ten minutes. Very nice small cafes, small shops of hand crafts, souvenirs, clothes etc.

Low rise buildings, history and character, just wander around it and explore. Some interesting shops, restaurants and cake shops.

It is a good building, but we weren't able to go inside though. It's worthy to take pictures, but that's not a lot besides that

There is no tram 12 from Geneva to Carouge until after August 28th 2016. Take tram 18 until it stops, the lights go out and the journey changes to CERN. Then get out and walk the rest of the way as its not far! Straight...More
