Great place to visit in the summer. Lots of free parking, picnic tables, washrooms, soccer field, easy beach access and tennis courts. It well maintained for the most part but the only thing I find is, the Canada geese have made a big mess of the ground. Overall this is a fun place to visit on a hot summer day!!... More

This beautiful park has many amenities including: playground, soccer field, washrooms. They are also many picnic tables and garbage cans. The beach is wonderfully maintained. There is a bit of shade but get there early to claim your spot.

This is a great park for any age category, but especially families with young children. Here are the highlights: - Soccer fields - Well-equipped playground - Gazebo shelter for picnicing (covered) - Bathroom access (closed in the off-season) - Sandy beachfront - Waterfront trail - Beautiful old chestnut trees: great to collect in the mid-late fall Downsides: - Goose poop... Close to all amenities, including a beach, full washrooms and playground. Great family park and great for birthday parties too!

Proximity to the beach with lots of ample parking makes this park ideal. Bathroom facilities are open in the spring and summer for convenience as well. The children's swings (especially the infant swing) is set pretty close to the ground so it can be uncomfortable for parents of average or taller heights to push for an extended period of time.

Enjoyed the park setting and loved the fruit trees. The sandy part of the beach is not as big as some others in the area but the clean, open, grassy field area was the perfect place to play frisbee and relax.

I met my family and we had a picnic on a rainy day. It was the perfect spot because it did have a covered over area with clean tables. Lots of garbage cans. It stopped raining after lunch and my 3.5 year old had a blast on the playground. A really beautiful spot with well groomed grass and big trees... More

This has got to be one of the best places to picnic, got to the beach, family time or just a great day in the sun. This is a dog free zone for my family that is great no stray dogs shaking dirt off on your blanket and food . There is plenty of sunshine or shade which ever you want,... More
