There was not too much to do in Palamos so we ventured into the fish museum with our 9 year old son. Staff at entrance were helpful and at first we watched a short film about the history of fishing before continuing into the museum...More

This museum is quite small and not particularly inspiring from the outside. However we found it very engrossing even though we are not fishing people. In winter the museum is free on a Sunday though it does not have the live cookery displays that are...More

The museum is interesting as it takes you through the history of fishing in the region from the beginning of when the trade began all the way to the modern times. It's next to the market so I'd recommend combining both in one visit!

Great and friendly atmosphere! Expect a good overview about the fishing business and the different aspects during its history There are various original tools and artefacts. Perfectly located close to the fishing dock in Palamos.

Wandered around for an hour and it was very interesting. The staff were very friendly and also helped with some tourist & restaurant enquiries. Most exhibits had multilingual explanations.
