I went into the shop in the middle of August. I was welcomed warmly by the owner who kindly showed me around the shop and explained the process behind the creation of the beautiful ceramic pieces (in Italian of course, of which I understand very little but he was incredibly patient.) Then he took me downstairs and demonstrated how a plate was made on the pottery wheel. He showed me how to use the wheel and even took a few photos of me trying it out! Truly, a magical experience. The prices are fair and you shouldn't miss going.

Our family (with young children) visited Maioliche Nulli in the early afternoon the first week of June. The brothers were so kind to our children, demonstrating how they make the bowls and explaining the process patiently again and again. The products are lovely - of very high quality, and very reasonably priced. They carefully wrapped every item we purchased and everything made it home perfectly! Highly, highly recommend. We will be back! We will also be telling the travel agencies we know about it.

Rolando welcomed us with a grin and immediately explained the differences in the prices and quality of the ceramics. He took us down to the workshop and quickly threw a bowl while I shot a video. We went to several other shops and could tell just how talented he is. Stop by, enjoy the banter and high quality, reasonably priced ceramics.

This particular place is relatively hidden compared to the larger obvious ones as you come in to town from the south but it is filled wall to wall with amazing pieces. The two brothers who run the place are warm, friendly, good humored and all to happy to go out of their way to help you. We were lucky enough to have a demonstration while there purchasing additional pottery for family back home and a few things for ourselves. Highly recommend.
