With desire to enter to visit the alleged "prima" by Palladio, I went Caldogno hoping to satisfy my desire (I follow the Vicenza architect since high school when I ventured to draw ink some of his works).
I entered the garden and the Villa was entirely with scaffolding being restored. It is was still good enough to frame the work in its size and comparing it with the other two large villas in the east of Caldogno to understand the Palladian hand with his special "new vision" constructive beginning MDC.

Less known than the others but still worth a visit, also in association with the German bunker next door which has been recovered and equipped with very well done information panels.

7€ entry and 20 if you speak French…
In short, either you take Italian lessons to buy a ticket or you pay €20/person
