Highly recommend the School of Falconry. We were able to walk with Hawks on our arms and the birds flew to and from our arms for the 40-60 minute nature walk. Joe was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable. It was an amazing experience and a great activity for a group. There were 6 of us and we 'flew'... More

We had a wonderful time learning about the history and use of the majestic birds of prey. The staff, birds, and grounds were amazing. A must-do!

A great day out with a distinct difference. Very helpful host, who stayed with us throughout. All enjoyed the experience and look forward to sending their friends in the future. Inexpensive and great fun. Feeding a falcon and having one sit on my shoulder was an experience in itself.

I am petrified of birds, but I decided to challenge my fears! This was an amazing start!. The falcons are so well trained & not at all scary. I was stunned by the knowledge of my guide and the birds ability to maneuver thru the trees. I did the extended walk. Unforgettable experience. Worth every penny, it was colder so... More

I stayed in this wonderful place with my husband and it was a 5 star experience truly. I was on crutches at the time so it was tricky to move around but decided on a walk around the grounds. We came upon A French lady showing some people falcons on one of our walks. We stopped to look and she... More

Who knew that here, in 2017, in the world of smartphones and global supply chains, that falconry is being practiced?! And that you can drive into the grounds of a gorgeous Irish castle and live out the medieval falconry fantasy that you never realized you had?! Seriously, though, this was one of the most amazing things I've had the privilege... More

We loved many aspects of our Irish holiday - landscape, historic buildings, music - but the hour walking through the forest with Harris Hawks flying off our arms under the gentle guidance of a nice young man was the best experience we had. A wonderful moment shared between young and old, human and bird.

My husband and I had been twice before and decided to finally take the plunge and bring our two kids aged 3 & 5 with us on New Year's Eve. Hawk walks are simply amazing, if you've never done one, go do it, it is one of those things that you will remember forever, getting to know these amazing birds... More

Oh how I loved this!! I didn't want it to end! Walking thru the beautiful castle grounds followed by a beautiful hawk. It was like a dream. Our instructor was great (I wish I could remember her name). They don't just take you out, they spend time with you and teach you about the birds in their care. They are... More
