This beach was beautiful. We enjoyed our snorkelling, food at the beach was plentiful and good. The sand was view was breathtaking. We also loved swimming with the dolphins on our way back. The Catamaran crew sure did know how to show us a good time. Lots of dancing, singing and cheering.

Despite cayo Blanco were a nice and quiet beach with white sand and clear sea, in Cuba there are better "cayos" The trip in the catamaran is 50 cuc, with free drinks, an awful lunch and a lot of sun. If you want to relax have a nice trip and see nice places this is not the trip for you... More

We booked through the hotel but it really wasn't worth the price we paid. We arrived at the Marina where 5 catamarans were being loaded from several buses. The trip out was uneventful and everyone was scampering to try to find a spot in the sun as it was cool and windy that day. Everyone was huddled together wearing sweaters.... More

I went on the catamaran tour about 18 months ago and then again on feb 25th and it was absolutely not what I was expecting. The last time we took the catamaran tour and went to the island, there was maybe a couple hundred people, a nice outdoor BBQ/buffet meal for everyone to enjoy. The beach was wide and beautiful... We booked this particular tour because it mentioned a catamaran tour, snorkeling, dolphins and a white sand beach. But didn't really know what to expect. What we got was a catamaran ride out to a dolphin enclosure (which is a bit upsetting to think about), but we all got to go in the water and interact with our dolphin, which... More

We booked the Cayo Blanco tour with a catamaran (75 Eur/CUC per Person) because we wanted to go snorkeling. However, the day before the weather was rainy and windy and so the water was too sandy to see anything. Thus, all people on the boated opted to go directly to Cayo Blanco to the beach. We felt the trip was... More

If the beach at your resort is nice then there's no real reason to go on a catamaran trip to Cayo Blanco. The sand was very nice there but otherwise it's nothing special. The experience is very similar to being at the resort. You sit on chairs under palapas and eat a lobster buffet at 1pm. They don't make mojitos... More

This was a great day! We took booked this trip through our resort in varadero. The catamaran was great! Good drinks and music! They took us snorkelling in a great spot with over 100 colourful fish but it was very wavy and hard to snorkel. We opted out of the dolphin thing because that's cruel. Cayo blanco island was GORGEOUS!... More

Catamaran boat ride over was relaxing which was fine because it was early. Beach is beautiful. White sand blue water. Lunch was ok. Lots of lobster. There was dancing and other activities. Catamaran ride back was more fun because it was later in the day. Delicious rum punch and games on board !!

We visited Cayo Blanco via a Catamaran / Cayo Blanco excursion offered through Transat rep at our resort in Varadero. Although the day was sunny and beautiful, the value was not there. The catamaran ride over was so-so, the island beautiful but Varadero beach is much more lovely, and the lunch included in the excursion was definitely not what we... More
