Working monestry, very quiet, peaceful and quaint. A hidden Jewel in an otherwise dull area. There were monks gardening and washing their clothes outside. Homegrown products available to buy and free roaming animals. Pleasant and humbling.

Nice monastery with beautiful icons and silent surroundings. In the small gardens you can relax and prepare for other excursions. Step right from the main street in the Pomorie city center. A bit easy to miss.

Very beautiful and quiet monastery with picturesque sights. Totally worth visiting in the city where there is not much to see.. Careful though.. Tripadviser was pointing us to totally wrong address ;-)

This small working monastery is a delight to visit. The church is so small, but beautifully decorated and we were fortunate to witness a baptism when we were there.

Came past here on a walk decided to pop in. Very nice and pleasant. Well worth a little visit. Ladies must cover up when going in here. To use the toilet you are asked for 0.50 donation and the toilet tissue is outside next to...More

What a great place! The statue of st. George outside in front of the monastery is magnificent. The monastery in side has a beautiful chapel. 17 century of history this monastery has a lot to tell.
