We went to Gioras after reading a review on YouTube about the Gluten free pastries that were available. Unfortunately there were none available although lots of choice if you can eat Gluten options. Disappointing visit.

The two tapenades we ate there were delicious. The fava bean spread was especially tasty. The restaurant is beautiful, very historic feeling, and the street view from the restaurant is fun.

What a charming bakery!
We stumbled across Gioras Wood Medieval Mykonian Bakery quite by accident in the narrow streets of Mykonos.
The baked goods were delicious and reminded me of the cookies that the Greek and Italian grandmothers and aunts would prepare for weddings in my hometown.
This bakery made the day very special to me. If you go to Mykonos, be sure to stop in and try their goods.

WOW! This is an amazing slightly dark hole in the ground with steep steps down into it. I LOVE this bakery so much so that I spent over an hour searching for it the next day. If only I had taken a picture of the sign.
I had cookies that looked and tasted like they had a pomegranate flavored center that was thick and soft and luscious. It made it necessary to hunt the place down for a lot more of the same. YUM!!

We came here on our day trip to the city. You literally walk down into what I can only describe as a cave entrance. So many options to choose from. We chose to get a latte, walnut baklava, and some cookies of various flavors and ate inside. It was a good break while walking the city.

An amazing bakery that’s a big piece of mykonos history, it captures the essence and originality of old mykonos. Wonderful pastries and sweets, a baklava that will remain on your taste buds for life.
When you need to get out of the hustle and bustle and sit and soak up the real mykonos, while enjoying a great coffee and snack it’s a must.
Thank you Cloe & George for making it such special experience.

Fantastic pastries in a cozy atmosphere.
The staff was warm and welcoming.
They even had my favorite: kataifi.
You won't be disappointed!

We were on a cruise in Oct. 2022 and stopped by this bakery that has been in operation since 1420! We got a piece of baklava that was SO GOOD! If we were staying on the island, we would be there everyday as there were so many wonderful items and it smelt so good there.

Gioras Pastry Café is a fabulous experience. The pastries are amazing and the setting is unique and interesting. A real Mykonian experience for sure. They have a huge selection of sweet and savoury pastries and pies and a very impressive selection of gluten free options also.

Quais os horários que ela está aberta? Hoje às 18hs encontramos , depois de muito perguntar pois os aplicativos têm dificuldade nas ruelas da Litle Venice, e ela estava fechada.

Is the bakery within walking distance from where the cruise ships dock?

Hello,
The bakery is in Mykonos Town. Your ship will either anchor and provide tenders to Mykonos Town or it will dock and offer free busses to town approx 5minute Drive. From either of these points the bakery is a 10minute stroll (with no stops).
Enjoy!!

Hi, Joe. What would you like to know about this attraction?
Linda: I am going to be visiting Mykonos this summer on a cruise too. I plan to visit the bakery if it is open. Do you happen to know the hours? I can not find them anywhere. Unfortunately, we arrive to Mykonos on a Saturday and don't get into port until noon. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
