I love this museum, which preserves a Mykonian sea captain's home and gives a window into life in Mykonos in another era. It's staffed lovingly by volunteers, and features some collections of art, prints, furnishings and my favorite, tamata (metal votive offerings). Highly recommended!

worth a quick 5 minuts of your time.A collection of 19th century house contents and artefacts, showing how a middle class person lived in those days.

Gives a good idea about life, culture and habits of a good time of development at the island.. Museum a bit hidden, not easy to find. Free entrance.. deserves a visit ..

We accidentally visited this place ..entrance is FREE and there are plenty of interesting things to see like the Venetian furniture, the kitchen with a phenomenal view on the ocean, the marble doorways ....

More like wondering into the home of a collector with eclectic taste - keys and locks from different eras, plates, paintings, votive offerings in a pull out cabinet and a mock up of a living room and kitchen from the 19th or early 20th century....More

Eclectic mix of items, and overall in need of some improvement in the conditions for the displays, which were interesting.
