I booked a boat ride, they cancelled because of the weather. Between the beach side shop and the boat company a compromise of 500€ was made on my only purchase that day on my bank account. When asking for a refund after feeling ill not being used to the weather, this made me very ill and in bed for three days they both were blaming each other. Please book with your hotel as there are no laws in Tenerife,. Two times I was cancelled is this a convenient scam or a " coincidence".

Don't be a person in the middle. Go through a reliable source like your hotel you can't go wrong.

There are black African boys/men selling things on the beach 9 out of 10 of them are nice pleasant men - with pronouncing their R's with rrrrrrrrrr🥰. Though between these and Indians trying to sell you stuff this takes away the pleasure you get from the nice welcoming Spanish.

One of the best beaches, dark sand and clear water. Plenty of activities on and off water, plenty of shops and basic restaurants.
Spoilt by paying €60 for a luxury double sun bed on the beach at Le Club. This is €20 for the lounger and €40 to use at the bar for food and drink. You can’t hire the lounger alone. Food and drink was expensive, so we only had a pizza and 2 drinks each. There is no customer service and the staff are reluctant to engage, even to say hello, thank you or to smile. Poor service.
Fanabe itself has a lot to offer and has lovely seafront walkways. We will visit again.

When I read some of the reviews of this beach, then saw it in real life, I thought I'd made a mistake, but no. I just can't reconcile the two. This beach is small, crowded, grubby, and at 8 Euros for a pair of sunbeds and an umbrella just a bit pricy. The , er . . ."promenade" is full of sleazy bars and restaurants, and shops selling tacky tat. It's like Blackpool with some sun, although even they don't have black sand.

We kept reading that Playa del Duaue was the nicest beach along this stretch, but we (Inc the kids) actually preferred this beach. The sand is a mixture of yellow and black and fine. The waves are fun for the kids and the water is slightly warmer than Duque. The restaurants and shops are not as classy, but on the other hand it’s a beach and there’s something for everyone. If you’re a couple wanting the wine bar feel, maybe Duque is better. But if you have kids or you’re a couple who likes hearing some mellow house in the background from a beach bar while watching the sunset, wants a good paella and have something for the kids to do, this is better.

A very nice beach with lots of restaurants and attractions nearby. There is quite a lot of sales people roaming around the beach offering blankets, sunglasses, hair-braiding, massages and fruits for sale. If you don't like being bothered by them I would recommend renting a sun bed for the day or go to a less popular beach.

Sand was lighter at this beach than others in the area and beach is well kept and clean. opted for standard sun loungers which were reasonably priced although the more expensive sun beds are also available on this beach. Most are based around a small beach bar so close if you want a drink, icecream or snack only downside is they all play music so hard to hear the soothing sounds of the sea over the music. Plenty of shops and bars on the seafront should you wish to take a break from sunbathing. Showers at the exit so you can wash the sand off. Some parts of the beach have rocks in the shallow area so be careful and aware of where your going but plenty of shallow areas without rocks so you can enter sea safely.

This beach is the largest beach in the area with dark sand and clear water. There are showers but sun loungers are expensive and you have to pay to use the toilets. There is a lovely seafront walkway with many many restaurants and bars.

The sand here is more a dirty colour, as a mix of black sand and lighter sand, prefer the colours of Duque Beach (reviewed separately). However definitely prefer the choice of restaurants, bars and places to grab different snacks and ice-creams so amenities are better here.

We were very surprised by the unfriendliness of 1 lifeguard as we dragged the pram across the sand (beach not very accessible) and were going to leave it in the shade 40meters or so behind the lifeguard station (not right behind) but was told that area was only for staff! No signs anywhere (as obviously this special area would move as the sun moved :-S) and for the 45 minutes we were on the beach, surprise surprise there were no lifeguards anywhere in sight on the beach!! We were told to buy a sunlounger with shade, but we only wanted to dip our toes in the water for 30 minutes, it was around 2.30pm so we obviously weren't going to stay the day!

We spent a pleasant hour and a half or so here, including very tasty ice-creams (including oreo, rollo, lion bar and other fun mixtures) from 1 of the many businesses here! I think there are about 3 rows of restaurants, bars & snack places so LOTS of choice to please anyone.

We arrived at Duque Beach lunchtime after a busy morning. We had an explore and lunch, before walking from the top of Duque Beach all the way along the coastal promenade to Fañabé Beach, which took maybe 30 minutes on a gentle stroll. A lovely walkway along the coast with wide flat paths so very pram/wheelchair accessible. If we ever return I would choose Duque Beach to relax on and play in the water, then walk up to Fañabé Beach for lunch/tea/snacks etc.

Not for us. The scruffy part of Adeje - smell of greasy food and cannabis pervades the air as you walk around. Not many great places to eat though beer is one euro a pint in some places

It is a small but perfectly formed beach with lots of restaurants around. Only 1 shop to buy drinks and snacks though so maybe take your own. 2 loungers and an umbrella cost 12E per day.

What a fabulous restaurant along the coast this is. I have been coming here for the last 12 years. We have to bus from Los Gigantes but it is always a pleasure to eat at Michelle's. The restaurant is family run & the staff are always so friendly & helpful. They become friends. The food is so good, plentiful & amazing quality at superb prices. A must to visit if you are in this area.
