The Peace bell rings every day at 5pm. It is a short walk through the hotel gardens or from the road if you are not staying there. It was lovely to watch it swing into motion. It wasn't too loud so you could happily stand by and watch.

We stayed in the Hotel next to this, and were able to walk through the grounds to get to it. From what I understand it is a "peace" bell, and is rung each evening at 5pm; and the lovely mellow ringing is heard down the valley. Just down the street from the Hotel Habhof, is this quaint little park with this monument. Take a short walk and enjoy their history!

Went to visit this bell because it's there. The view is outstanding and the concept is lovely. Would like everything translated as my German is very rusty, so we missed out on alot of the information, until returning and reading it on the internet.

It's badly signed, so not easy to find.... More

nice place to visit, there is a special walking trail to the bell. While visiting the Friedensglocke don't forget to take a look in the little church nearby.

It's a pity that is quit difficult to raech the place because is in the hotel gurden and it is need a longer trip to the... More
