The Heritage Walk strongly defies the statement "Nagpur is just a major city and there is nothing to explore"
Best way to head start the new year by exploring the unknown history and evolution of Nagpur for the residents of Nagpur as well as for tourists.
Walk started from Gond Darwaza till Rukmini Temple.
The tour was divided into 5 layers viz from Megalith Period till Modern Nagpur.
The walk was engaging and informative all throughout.
Appreciating depth of knowledge and narrative skills of Ar. Amol Wanjari.
Walk ended by igniting the flame of pride amongst us for our city Nagpur.
Strongly recommend to residents of Nagpur who aren't aware of rich heritage and history of our city as well for tourists.
From personal experience, I regret not doing these walks earlier, had an enchanting experience. Planning to do more walks/tours with Orange Odyssey India.

The heritage walks are a worthwhile experience. Nagpur has a rich and complicated history, the artifacts of which have blended into the daily life of this city and often go unnoticed. These walks are a way to take a breather and pay attention to the monuments of a bygone era and understand the roots of this city. Its facinating to know about the history and evolution of this city.
Mandira and Amol, the hosts for the walks, are both young entusiastic architects and do a great job explaning the lost heritage of this city.

It was such a treat to attend this walk! Amol is amazing, warm and familiar. He guided us swiftly through the beautiful old city. Seeing the city and hearing the story of its evolution has been a complete circle of information that has been floating around in my head about nagpur. The walk was super engaging,3 hrs seemed to pass by in a blink.
The effort they have put in to collect the correct information is evident! Amol had answers to every question we had! Be it culture, history or food!
The way they share the information with us is truly memorable.
The city some how seems more familiar and peaceful, the pockets of spaces with virtually no people in such a busy neighbourhood were magical.
They have put in so much research! Amol knew places that were buried in mud with time with just a sliver of carving visible or a rock used as a tap holder originally belonging to a temple or vada site, something we wouldn’t bat an eye on! Absolutely loved this part of the walk!
i would have never explored these places alone and would not have know any of their historical significance.
this walk has given me a new sense of deeper connection to the city

I've done multiple heritage walks organised by orange odyssey. The walks were amazing, they amplified my knowledge about my city, it's beautiful heritage, which maximum people who reside here are unaware about. I would have never known that nagpur has 150 years old structures.

It was an awesome experience. Walked into the lanes and bylanes to see the heritage site. Have passed through those roads so many time with zero knowledge. Now it is going to be treasured everytime I pass that area memories of the explanations will come to mind. Did not know Nagpur had such treasured places to explore. Thanks to Amol and Mandira for organizing this walk.

I have been to couple of heritage walks with Orange Odyssey and it was a truly wonderful experience. The walk was well-organized and the guides passionate about the local history and culture. It's surprising how there's an interesting history of our own locality that we're unaware of. I was able to learn so much about Nagpur and its rich heritage, which was really fascinating.
The walk took us through some of the most historic and interesting parts of the town, close to my neighborhood and I was able to see many beautiful and unique buildings, monuments, and landmarks. The guide made sure to point out important features and provide interesting background information, which added so much to the experience!
I would highly recommend this heritage walk to anyone who is interested in history and culture. Whether you are a local resident or a visitor, this walk is an excellent way to spend a good Sunday morning and gain a deeper appreciation for our rich cultural heritage!

Orange Odyssey is a treasure in the city of Nagpur, which all the citizens and visitors should know and should join their walks to understand and learn about the history of Nagpur. Mandira and Amol have a deep knowledge about history and they are passionate about that. Joining the any one of the walks is worth and really important to understand about the past and the present of the Orange city!

Day tour to Mohadi -Andhalgaon in Bhandara district organized by Orange Odyssey on 13th August was fascinating! It involved guided tour to Pande Mahal- a beautiful heritage property, visits to handloom weavers of Karwat Kath Saree, A Silk Processing factory & Rawanwadi water reservoir. It was a Sunday well spent with local authentic food & enthusiastic participants. The organisers are passionate in what they do & make sure the participants are taken care of. Do take this tour if you want to understand rich culture Maharashtra.

If you want to understand the rich history of Nagpur and its neighborhood, then you should definitely go for heritage walk with The Orange Odyssey.
Ar.Amol and Ar. Mandira are doing a wonderful job by educating the people of Nagpur about its rich history and culture.
My recent heritage walk with Orange Odyssey was at Ramtek on 2 April 2023, I have visited Ramtek many times but through Orange Odyssey, I learned about its vast and interesting history.
I highly encourage Ar. Amol and Ar. Mandira to schedule many such new and interesting heritage walks.
