A nice monument to visit while in Nagpur. A deep sense of patriotism you feel when you stand in this iconic Monument, the display of photograph's of Dr. BR Ambedkar takes you back to the ages of struggle of India and helps you understand the extent this Great soul has contributed to India. If your heart feels for India, dont miss this.

Nice place, but Ambedkar has created hatred towards Hinduism. After completing the visit inside stup, read the oath taken by and given to masses created negativity . Really disappointing to visit the place.

Loved this place. Free entrance. A must see attraction. Parking on premises at a cost of Rs20. Clean, tidy, very peaceful. No photography inside.

Deeksha Bhoomi is near to Ajni railway station (around 3.5 km). The largest dome-shaped stupa in Asia can be seen from outside the boundary wall of this area. The facilities inside the premises include paid luggage room, slippers/shoe rack, drinking water, book store, free toilets, and Buddha Vihara. The architecture of stupa is worth watching. The inside ground hall has a replica of this stupa, along with statues of Buddha, and a large meditation hall. In one corner, there is display of picture gallery related to Babasaheb conversion to Buddhism.

An interesting and unexpected site in Nagpur. A friend and I spend quite a bit of time there looking at the documents and the lovely meditation space.

It is best to visit this place in the evening. You can spend a maximum of 45 minutes. Nothing great, but more of emotional & historic value. The story of Bharat Ratna Ambedkar is well projected in the photo galery. There is adequate paring place .

Perhaps once this building work is done, it will be interesting. At present there is not a lot inside or outside. You cannot wear shoes.

There is no restriction over phones and photography. How ever Security check exists and it is very strict. Do not mess up with CISF security there. It will be too complex if you were found erring!
