Fabulous area to walk, with the dogs running completely free. We didn't manage to get round the whole park area as it is so large but it was wonderful to really get out into the rugged yet clearly marked Scottish countryside. Very beautiful area and really quite close to Glasgow.

Mugdock park is a great place to get away from it all for nice long walks. I frequently walk through the park on part of the West Highland Way. I don't have a dog but lots of people bring their dogs here and it looks to me as if the dogs love it.

Nice park with lots of walks however has been left without investment and this is evident everywhere you look. The children's play area is very run down, the paths are not maintained. The day we visited was a Tuesday and the baby change facilities were filthy - both bins were overflowing with nappies from the day before. There is a... More

Great for the kids, you have a café in the castle that can be expensive if you have a large family but nice. Adventure park and trails for the kids to take part in. Parking can be difficult but if you leave early enough its not an issue.

Just outside Glasgow city limits, and a great place for outdoor activities. The grandchildren (9 and 6) loved it. Unfortunately, however, there's been a lack of maintenance and some areas need the trees cutting back, the children's climbing frames and activity areas are neglected. There's a nice little café and snack area, and some of the walks are delightful. How... More

Went for a bike ride around the park was a lovely night, the park could do with more post or biking route signposts but other wise it was peaceful and had great views over the city.

This park is great as it has a lot to see and do. Lots of great walks and has castle ruins etc. the shop is fantastic as it has all year round stuff for sale. The fresh jams are great as well and the shop has a great choice of different kinds of food and sweets etc.
