I enjoy d the walk situated within mugdock country park, however as I was present with my young child and older 2 children who are 11 they seem to be quite critical about the small park. The children's park could be much bigger and with...More

Great green space, varied and interesting landscapes, easy walks and good accessibility and facilities all well maintained but still very naturalistic. Castle history well explained on information boards. Well stocked small garden centre at same location with nice cafe.

There is no public transport service to the park. The nearest public transport route would take you past the Glengoyne Distillery. Forget the park and do the whisky tour !
