It's very easy to find the start of this walk at the harbour in the Old Town of Puerto del Carmen. It's a bit steep and zig zaggy at the start but after the first 100 metres it's very easy and relatively flat. The walk...More
We caught the 161 bus from Puerto Del Carmen to Puerto Calero and walked down into the port where we had a look around the area , there was a small market, and saw some amazingly large fish swimming by the bridge there. The area...More
Lovely walk from one resort to the other. It's not flat from beginning to end. There is a steep walk but no steps and you do have one ravine to negotiate but easy to manage unless you have walking issues. Calero is lovely and small...More
This walk along the cliffs is an ideal way to walk off all the excellent food you have eaten in Puerto del Carmen! It's about 2 miles on a reasonable pathway but not suitable for those less able as there are steepish steps up from...More

Lovely walk along the coast, overall took about 45 mins to walk the length of the path. Most of the walk was very easy to manage. Some steps to contend with but not unmanageable. We walked one way and got the bus taxi back. Would...More

weve only walked to calero from puerto del carmen and taken the water taxi back! we found that the price has increased quite a lot over the last couple of years and they are only at certain times. the walk is lovely but quite hilly in parts so you may want to bare this in mind with small children etc.
probably good to walk there and get the water taxi back if there are two of you but could work out expensive if you are a family (bout 30 euros for family of 4).
