The walk along the promenade was very enjoyable. You could walk to the perimeter of the airport once way and further if you wanted and the walk into Puerto del Carmen took about 35 minutes.

There are a few souvenir shops and cafe/restaurants but not a great choice. Avoid the Chinese restaurant, food not fresh, staff not friendly. Better off going to Puerto Del Carmen, lots of shops, souvenir shops a little cheaper too. Can walk there but it took...More

We stayed here area much quieter then Carmen with plenty of amenities and lovely beach area. You can walk into Carmen takes about 30 minutes at a steady pace or you can get a taxi about 4/5 euros

This beach was in front of our hotel and a lot of people run along the sea line, it’s quite windy but nice to sit and build sandcastles with the little ones whilst watching the planes land.

Never saw one quite honestly but it's how some of the hotels make extra money on exchange.

A great friendly pub just beside a good Indian restaurant (Mumbai Masala) had English football on when we were there recently. You will have no problem seeing the matches - can't swear that it was BT Sports though.
