Island Yoga is a yoga retreat centre on peaceful Koh Yao Noi in Phangna Bay in Southern Thailand. We offer yoga retreats lasting anywhere from 4 days to several weeks, starting at any time during the season with our unique 'rolling retreats' concept. Island Yoga teachers provide classes based on Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga for Asana (physical poses), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation. Weekly workshops are also available as well as drop in yoga during peak season. We also use the outdoors as an environment in which to expand our the spiritual experience with rock climbing, kayaking and other outdoor activity trips on a weekly basis. Island Yoga is the perfect escape from the more touristy, busy parts of Thailand.

This review is highly affected by the misinformation I received prior to my visit. I was told by staff that I could drop into classes at 730 am and 430pm, and booked a hotel next to the yoga shala, based on their recommendation. (Note, the yoga studio has accommodations, but require a minimum stay of 3 nights). When I arrived,... More

Island yoga was so much fun. The three and a half hours of yoga a day made you feel so good. one day we did a workshop, island hopping, walked to town ( 10km), did a Thai cooking course and had lots of massages. It was absolute bliss. I would love to take my three daughters back one day.

My friend and I stayed at Yoga Island for one week in August 2016. We were looking for a much needed quick break from work to rejuvenate with yoga and some peace and quiet. Unfortunately, we did not get peace and quiet because the owners decided to do renovations, without any prior warning and without offering any discount in compensation.... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 day, 3 night stay. There are two yoga classes per day in a beautiful yoga sala with dedicated, mindful yoga teachers who gave clear instruction for all levels of practice. The resort has a relaxed friendly atmosphere and I felt very cared for by all the staff. The island is fun to explore and activities... More

My husband and I choose the Island Yoga retreat as a anniversary treat at the last moment. We both thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay and would like to return for a longer period of time in the future. The vibe was laid back, the surrounds are lush and the property is well kept. The morning yoga with meditation is... More

In June 2016 we had qjite some rain,so I went to some drop in classes at island yoga. The yoga room with its wooden floor and more than enough ventilators to beat the heat, was quite nice. The different teachers were good (I do regularily Yoga for 12 years now) and professional, and the teaching was nice. Very good to sit after... More
