Peace

I visited the lake on an evening with some friends. We were near the dam end, and sat by the shore listening to peaceful jungle sounds as the sun set. A transcendental experience.

It just stops on a bridge with water pipelines on either side so beware!!. At one point we came across a Municipal office who said we need some... More

U can stay at the forest rest house. Food is provided by the care taker. U can also ask the forest guide to take u... More

I visited this place last year, when I visited a resort in Thane. Approach road is in good condition and scenic too . I recommend this place mainly in rainy season. Be careful while reaching water specifically in rainy season.

You can easily reach the place from Atagaon railway station via a cab( cost is around 20rs ) but the cabs are overly crowded, if possible take your own ride. The view ofcreaching the lake side from the station is amazing. The are stretches where the road is covered with forest trees on both sides. There is a dam as... More
