The entrance to the Trail is not easy to find. I give you some more hints to find it.
At first go to Hotel Seri Malaysia Genting in the Village of Gohtong Jaya. You can find Gunung Bunga Buah (GBB) in Google Maps, but don't use it now, because it will lead you to a private property which you cannot cross.
Instead, follow the street (Jalan Jati 1) downhill to the end of the Shops and Restaurants. Turn Right after the last shop and you will see a Taoist statute in a small hut and next to it a red sign "private property" (ignore it). Check the Picture I uploaded (January 2019).
On the left there is a narrow path which will lead you to the Trail. Follow the path for 20-30 minutes (mostly very steep uphill) until you reach a small road. Turn left and follow this road for around 200 metres. The road will make a U-turn but don't follow it! Instead go straight and follow another narrow path. Now you will walk on the old road to Genting Highlands for About 1 hour.
You will see a small sign on the left which will lead you to GBB.

It took us 6 hours to complete the trek (only short stops).
We loved it because we met nobody on the trek and were surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest.

Rating- Moderate to Hard.
Above 12-14km. Start at 8am and end at 430pm. Not a good day it rained twice today.
Need to get yourself a hiking stick cause its the most important tool for this hike. Trees and roots today were my best friends as lots of grappling and pulling involved due to the muddy and wet trail. Great exercise and overall a tough one. You will see the green carpets like Mossy Forest toward the 2/3 of the climb.

the trailhead is behind all the restaurant and shops of gotong jaya, the very first shop starting on left, behind the restaurant there's Taoist statute in a small hut, u can hike up from there thru dirty terrain (alot of rubbish) and reaches to the abandon asphalt road. please used google map to track your trail. The trail is full of hungry leeches come ready. the hike feels like tracking thru abandon Jurrasic park due to the abandon asphalt road. quite on the weekdays, we did not encounter anyone during this hike. we did not reach to the top due to time constrained and weather looking gloomy, halfway to the trail is all muddy road (if raining it will become a gushing river which makes it impossible to hike back).

If you are looking for Klang valley you have to walk 5-6 hours through mountanes forests. This is a nice cold place to hike, you can see quite a lot of nice plants especially during rainy season. The entrance of the Mount is near to Hotel Seri Malaysia.

This hike takes around 8 hours to complete. It's cold along the trail and there are a couple of nice viewpoints along the way as well.

This was during my first hike up this mountain. As of August 2016, the access road to the trail has been fenced with a locked gate. Inquiries on this were made to the police station nearby and they wanted us to get a permit from KL and then register with the fire and rescue services before they would open the gate to the trail.

Too bad, this was a nice day hike near the city and now its just too much of a hassle.

A 5-6 hour walk through montane forest to a peat overlooking the Klang valley. The trail starts behind Goh Tong Jaya off the road to the Cable car station near the strawberry farm. The trail follows the route of the old road to Genting highlands which has been abandoned for more than 20 years and is now largely overgrown. The first part of the trail to the old quarry is open but then the trail narrows through dense vegetation. After about 1.5 hours the path to Gunung Bungs Buah is reached. It is a further 1.5 -2 hours to the peak.

Cool weather and along the way, you can see many wild flowers.
Some site has leeches but it's not so bad. Towards the peak, the condition is quite similar to Mossy Forest but with less moss, of course :-) Certain slopes are quite muddy on rainy days. Rock Garden (last stop before the peak) offers the best view of Genting Highlands and surrounding.

This is a nice cold place to hike, you can see quite a lot of nice plants especially during rainy season. However, this is a place that quite famous with the leeches, the blood sucker is everywhere in the lower trail. Do prepare for the bite. The climb is up and down , up and down. This is not suitable for beginner hikers . Before you reach the peak , there is a nice place with stone where you can actually see Genting , this place has a much beautiful view compare to the peak.
