We really enjoy our time here, there is a big Buddha statue, and so many statues describing how bad attitudes will lead a person to bad destinations (afterlife).

Located atop a mountain in Genting Highlands, Malaysia, the Chin Swee Temple is a prominent religious site that attracts visitors from all over the world. This stunning temple is dedicated to the Buddhist saint Chin Swee, who is believed to have possessed supernatural powers and the ability to perform miracles.

The temple was built in 1976 and has undergone several renovations since then. Today, it stands as a magnificent architectural wonder that blends traditional Chinese and modern elements. The temple is surrounded by lush greenery and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

One of the most striking features of the temple is its towering statue of Buddha, which stands at 15 meters tall. The statue is made of concrete and is painted gold, making it a shimmering sight to behold. Visitors can climb up to the statue and offer their prayers or simply take in the stunning view of the surrounding landscape.

The temple complex also features several other attractions, including a garden, a fish pond, and a pagoda. The pagoda is a seven-story structure that houses various Buddhist relics, including statues, scriptures, and other artifacts. Visitors can climb up to the top of the pagoda and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and forests.

Another popular attraction at the temple is the Sky Terrace, which is a glass-floored platform that extends out from the side of the mountain. The Sky Terrace offers a thrilling experience as visitors can look down at the sheer drop below them and take in the stunning view of the surrounding landscape.

The temple is also known for its ornate decorations and intricate carvings, which showcase the best of Chinese craftsmanship. Visitors can admire the intricate details of the temple's architecture and marvel at the skill and dedication of the artisans who created it.

Aside from being a popular tourist attraction, the Chin Swee Temple also serves as a center for Buddhist education and spiritual practice. Visitors can attend meditation sessions or participate in various religious activities that take place throughout the year.

In conclusion, the Chin Swee Temple is a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Genting Highlands or Malaysia. Its stunning architecture, breathtaking views, and spiritual ambiance make it a truly unique and unforgettable experience.

The chin Swee temple - a must see place located near to Genting Highlands. The cable car has a stop here. The temple and the surroundings are very scenic- covered by mist and accompanied by breeze. The Buddha statue among the trees is divine.

Photo dumping of a month ago today, Saturday 15.10.22 where Jack, Lawerence and I were in Genting Highlands’ Chinese Temple Chin Sui Caves 😂

Haven’t been there for about ten years and so much has changed here since! Definitely for the better 💛

The 18 layers of hell depiction was still as daunting as when I’d watched the black and white movies 🎥 when I was a kid which got me quite traumatised 🤦🏻‍♀️

It was wonderful up here. Came only to visit the temple and it was so worthwhile. The changing weather, from full cloud, to mist, to clear, made it so atmospheric. A fun drive up and down, plenty of parking and a really impressive place to see. Loved it.
