We did not realise that we were supposed to arrange the guide in the car park at Rifugio Saprienza, and took the cable up to the rangers station. Having been turned down to join other groups, we are extremely grateful that Peitro and Mauritza took us on up to the summit. They had good risk assessment and great kindness. We... More

The guide up the volcano was very good and informative. Though instructions and information weren't always easy to hear the guides were willing to repeat them if you could catch them.

This is a great tour. Couldn't believe we were stood looking into the crater at the summit. Amazing experience. But be prepared. Even though it was 28 degrees on the coast that day, it was around 5 degrees at the top. It was also super windy at the top and there was a strong smell of sulphur. Take plenty to... More

A brilliant tour with Etna touring with incredibly experienced guide who had so much knowledge about everything to do with Mt Etna. Highly recommend!

Traveling on Etna with Pietro is one of best choice during Your visit on Sicily. But You have to be in rather good condition - the whole trip takes 6-7 h including cable car and jeep. But Pietro will show You places and ways which You will never see without him. So take sandwiches and water and be prepared for... More

We booked a summit tour with Etna Touring for three people. We drove 1 hour for our 9am rendezvous. The guide turned up half an hour late, only to explain that the tour had to be cancelled due to weather conditions. Other lower altitude hikes would have been possible, but because none of the other people booked on the tour... More

Dear customers, with much displeasure and disappointment we read your negative and critic review, but we are absolutely convinced that no disservice and disinformation are attributable to us. In the days, before your arrival, you have been widely and thoroughly informed by e-mail that the weather forecast this week would have been quite variables (we also sent the link of... More

We booked a hike with etna touring at EUR 85,- we initially thought it to be a bit steep. But having seen the company's setup and professionalism it was worth every euro. The hike itself is an amazing experience and as you climb up the mountain the view and the true nature of the volcano reveals itself! When arriving at... More

I hiked the summit with this company, which is an incredible experience. The hike itself is not too difficult from an underground/route perspective, but remember you are going up from 1900m to 2500 by cable car, another 400m by jeep and then the summit hike is another 400m up. The altitude is not to be underestimated. Anyway, if you are... More

The tour to the top of Etna exceeded our expectations and Etna Touring from Federica in the office to Pietro on the mountain couldn't have been more helpful and informative. You can't miss the chance to go trek to the top experience the sulphur steam and live craters to then sprint down the ash scree fields it is just spectacular..

We were so lucky with my friend when we arrived to the refuge where we were told that we can go and see this so famous volcano Etna. Pietro and his colleague Giuseppe, our guides, were about to leave with the group, so we arrived rushing and told them that we want to do the tour with them, it was... More
