We took a boat ride to Monkey Beach (although we could have hiked), which was enjoyable and a nice way to see the area. The beach is relaxing, but not very large. Lots of monkeys - be careful they will steal your food.
The best way to get there from Ferringhi area is to take a bus 101 to the last stop (Penang Park) it is 2 Myr per person. Use Grab as alternative .
