You can get the view if you go to the top by cable car. The view from the cable car is amazing and the lake really looks of the shape of a mango.

8226 ft above sea level. A good place for tracking. Tea and maggie available. Have shade to hide in case of rain or snowfall. Lake view is nearby and one can see china border from peak. Friendly guards, good climate but shortage of water.

Though the view from this peak is nice, but there was nothing exceptional in it as we had already seen so many such views during our travel

A high altitude point 15 mins away from main town gives a spectacular view of the city. Also telescopes at this place helps to see himalayan peaks provided weather is clear.

One of thr the best things to see in Nainital. Must visit if you are in the town. However like all locations in the town, this would be crowded too.

Whil;e the Nainital city is located in valley, the naina peak located in heights provides an excellent view of Naini lake and snow capped Himalayan peaks. One should visit it while in Nainital. Althoiugh you can go by ropeway. the road journey is more rewarding.

if you stay in city then 2 hrs is enough but make sure you go to Naina peak in the morning before 9 am to get the view of himalaya. once sun rises then you wont see the himalaya. this is really exciting scene to see himalya.
