One has to hire a horse to go there which costs Rs 760/- per person. It is not worth of money as well as time it takes. Horse riding is not a fun for such a long and scary route for a non horse-rider individual.

If you want to enjoy some scenic views, Tiffin Top is a good place to visit. This place can be reaches by horses but I'll recommend trekking. Best time to visit is early in the morning. View from there is quite breathtaking.

A visit to Tiffin Top offers a beautiful trek of about 4 kms. through forests of pine, oak & deodar, which stands firm breathing a peaceful silence, only to be broken now & then, by the occasional footsteps of horses carrying visitors to the top & the chirping of crickets or the distant birdsong. We trekked to the top to... More

We walked from Naini Retreat hotel to Sherwood school, past Gurney House (once home to the legendary Jim Corbett), and then climbed up to Dorothy's Seat. This is not a commonly-taken route so was very peaceful though somewhat longer and steeper. We did not meet anyone on the way up! The view from the top was absolutely breath-taking especially the... This is a tourist attraction for Nainital visitors, people prefer to go on this hill top by Horses, although one can walk. View from here is good.
